Blue Moon Coffee & the St Johns Cinema

Dateline Monday.
It’s February and once again I have the opportunity to show my work at Blue Moon Coffee in Lake Oswego.  It’s the one year anniversary of my first show and I’m excited to celebrate it at the same place.  Blue Moon www.bluemoonlo.com  is a locally owned coffee shop that provides great coffee, tea and food in a casual warm environment.  It’s also a place that supports local artists.  Personally I think original art enhances the northwest coffee experience, but I may be biased.  There’s a different artist every month at Blue Moon and February is my month.  So stop by, order your favorite coffee drink and relax on a couch.  And while you’re at it – check out my work.
My latest piece is St. Johns Cinema.  It’s 24”x 30” acrylic on canvas and perfectly placed in a repurposed frame purchased at Goodwill and brought back to life - by me.   This painting also features my beautiful wife Kevan, subtly inserted into the scene to give it a touch of life.  Going to the movies is what we do  this time of year.  In our annual quest to see EVERY Oscar nominated film we frequent this refurbished historic theater www.stjohnscinema.com  as much as possible.  We love this place.  Where else can we watch first run films for $7 and enjoy Boneyard RPM www.boneyardbeer.com?
No seriously, where else?
